I have seen this happen often, with my own children and others. However, my sweet baby granddaughter has developed a tendency to very high fevers that cause her to seize.... not fun and not good to let a fever that causes seizures stay that high. So now, my son and DIL are giving Ibuprofen when it gets around 104. And I understand why. It's scary to see you child twitching, eyes rolling back in their head and not able to respond normally. Lesson? Never say never, or always. Gotta be flexible.
